Illustration for Nautilus Magazine

Here is my recent illustration for science magazine Nautilus, this month on the theme of waste. The story is about a prehistoric worm that lived in dinosaur faeces! The worm might have been a food source to our early ancestors during the great extinction, as it did not rely on sunlight to survive. I spent a happy few hours sketching dinosaur bones at the Natural history museum, but alas I could not find any actual fossilized poo, or indeed any pictures of the worm! So here is how I've imagined it, similar to an earthworm. You can read the article here.
