Illustration for Resurgence & Ecologist magazine

I created this piece of a man in a hammock years ago for a studio exhibition on the theme of Happiness. Originally a silkscreen print, it now appears in this month's issue of Resurgence & Ecologist magazine, to accompany an article about Leisure. You can see the piece online here.

Wedding!

I've recently returned from a couple of weeks break for my wedding and honeymoon in Italy! We had a wonderful day and the weather even held for us. Here are a couple of pics of the wedding invites being screen printed. We used a motif of our initials H and A combined into a heart shape - this was also used on the service papers and on little favour boxes which we filled with homemade fudge!

Flamingo screen print

I decided to turn my recent zig-zag flamingo image into a 5 colour screen print, and here is the result. Partly inspired by flamingoes I saw in Chile, although they didn't have legs quite like this...!

Shop update

I've just added a couple more products to my online shop - this screenprint of a hedgehog (a hog in a hedge) is available in light yellow, green and brown, or turquoise, green and dark red. They are printed on lovely thick Somerset satin paper and are a limited edition of 20. Also available is my silkscreen of a cat in a coal cellar and a polar bear in a snowstorm. You can also buy my new book 'Sixty Impossible things before lunch', priced at £14.00. Take a look!
